Every Tuesday for the month of November, KL International Airport plays host to the first ever fashion competition at an airport.
Last week's heats with the theme, "Be Accerized", pit six different teams from KL's best fashion schools against each other, supported by hairstylists from Redken and makeup expert from Shu Uemura. Celebrity judge Alex Eu was on hand to offer the contestants tips and advice on how to get ahead of the competition.
Think Fashion and we tend to think of girls ramping it up on a runway, and of fashion designers and stylists celebrating and redefining femininity with every show and season.
In today's world, men's style and fashion is becoming increasingly important. Whether metrosexual or hyper-masculine, men's makeup, hair, personal style and fashion has become much, much more than just smart suits and slick shoes.
Airports of the past were known to be drab, functional places where nobody bought anything. They were meant to transport you from Point A to Point B, but not much more. Today's mega modern airports are a different story, filled with shops of every kind.
KL International Airport, as one of the world's best airports, offers an unparalleled retail experience to passengers.
For the third and last heat of iStyle Fashion, contestants will compete to put together a style that showcases the best indulgence that the KLIA retail experience has to offer.
